I don't know for others but for me.... I trade news in alignment with my technical analysis.

Once the news is in align with my set-up. I trade it .

The trendline is still valid.... but once that kind appeals twice is no more valid.

I have a question guys....

How do I gain serious conviction on a particular set-up. 🤔. Must I have to test like up to 50x before i can then gain conviction.

Very important, cos there will be times when your technical analysis and fundamental analysis may be pointing in different directions.

At such times, it's best to just stay away from the market

It's still valid yeah, but I was just pointing out to him what a false breakout looks like

Exactly... just like last week market. I got a set-up which is long on btc/usd but I saw a news which is negative on usd so I made a set-up and it finally ditch out.

It was that set-up that I told I later remove my position from btc even when it is a nice set-up

I mean being certain that market will definitely obey your set-up.

Cus even when I do have such set-up I am not always convinced though I have seen it work out but I am still not 100% convinced within me or must I have to try it like 50 times to be convinced on it.
