does deriv have zar account currency

if i open an account with deriv from South Africa will the account display currency be in zar or usd?

No deriv does not have zar account. They dont offer any account currency outisde USD, EUR, GBP & Crypto.

I stumbled across a link where someone asked a deriv agent why they dont offer zar account and they didnt give any definite answer, so i guess they are not even considering it.

In my opinion, any broker that doesn't offer ZAR account is now well grounded in South Africa, as they may be keeping customer deposits in foreign banks thus withdrawals could take a longer time.

Yes, Deriv has zar account but it's good to have both usd and zar trading accounts. When i am trading stock cfds, i prefer to use usd account, i only use zar account when trading usd/zar pair.

On Deriv X, USD is the main currency, but you can also use BTC, EUR, GBP, JPY, ETH, and ZAR as reference currencies.

Most brokers that offer ZAR account are always regulated by the FSCA in South Africa. It is rare to see a non-FSCA regulated broker like Deriv offering ZAR accounts
