EURUSD sell ❌

I had the bearish structure.

I had the POI.

But I didn't have one of my key confirmations:

Internal Range Liquidity.

I entered anyway.

Price used my position as liquidity and pushed higher.

This is exactly why having a checklist matters.

Sometimes the best lesson comes from the trades that don't work.

My EURUSD sell had a decent-looking bearish narrative, but when I reviewed it properly, the setup was incomplete.

There was no IRL before the POI.

I ignored a condition I normally look for.

That's on me.

The loss wasn't the problem.

The process deviation was.

I know I want to see:

→ Liquidity

→ IRL

→ POI

→ Displacement/confirmation

→ Entry

This EURUSD setup didn't give me that complete sequence.

I still took the trade.

That's the mistake I'm correcting.

EURUSD may still sell from the current area.

Price could sweep that high, grab liquidity, and then deliver the bearish move I originally anticipated.

But that doesn't change the fact that my entry was premature.

There is a huge difference between being right about direction and being right about the entry.

This is why I keep saying:

A bias is not a setup.

I was bearish on EURUSD.

The market eventually might become bearish from this area.

But I entered before the conditions I wanted were fully present.

Direction alone isn't enough.

The entry model has to be respected.

EURUSD used me as liquidity. 😂

I entered the sell without the IRL confirmation I normally require.

Price pushed through my position, swept the high, and now I'm watching closely.

If that high gets properly swept and bearish displacement follows, the original idea could still play out.

But this time, I'm waiting for confirmation

Loss taken on EURUSD.

What went wrong?

I focused too much on the bearish narrative and not enough on the quality of the setup.

The missing piece was IRL.

No IRL meant I didn't have the clean liquidity sequence I wanted.

The market reminded me:

Don't skip your confirmations just because the chart looks good.

Trade review:

❌ Entry was premature

❌ No IRL before the POI

❌ Price pushed through my position

✅ Clear lesson

✅ Setup rules becoming more refined

EURUSD may still give the bearish move I was looking for after sweeping that high.

But I'll only participate if the setup develops according to my model.

EURUSD LOSS — LESSON LEARNED.

I was looking for the sell, but I overlooked one of my most important confirmations:

IRL.

Price used my position as liquidity and pushed higher.

It may now sweep the high and reverse lower, but the important part is the lesson:

Never force a setup because the narrative looks right.

The narrative can be right.

The direction can be right.

And you can still have the wrong entry.

Back to the checklist. 📉

EURUSD- Price can possibly continue the buys, without the sell pullbacks to fill up the bullish imbalance.
The 1.1662-1.1672 Price region has been used as support before, and price can repeat the same move again.

Yeah. Human Errors is one of the things that makes trading not perfect, we push for perfection, but those little errors always rob us once in a while. That's why we constantly keep learning from our mistakes and improving on ourselves.
