News is often times a catalyst of what technicals is planning to do. In other words, it drives price in alignment with technicals.

News can be manipulative especially when the data comes out not really significantly high like the pci yesterday you will see that the main driver Can become the headlines not the datas, dollar was supposed to rise, ustech fall, gold falling as well but they all started strengthening but I knew price was just pricing base on investors sentiment , price went up on ustech and started falling again from 29684 , I was in a gold sell and because I knew that it was just a manipulative move I held my gold and closed this morning while one caught tp the others were manually closed

Good to Know. Thank you. For dollar to continue buying, it will have to pullback first. I'll take advantage of it on Silver or Gold.

But you got stopped out because the move was just a manipulative one, sorry, dollar will still rise it needs some momentum backup

I'm just coming online but thank you for this❤️

The news did something very funny, I entered the gold, eurusd and USDCAD trade but I got stopped out twice on USDCAD and Eurusd and decided to hold gold till morning because I saw it was a manipulation that gold must sell before buying today and I woke up to bags of gold in my account that's the chart image

Too high risk for the common trader

Although the news didn't give that high reaction it was the market that decided to move that way because there has been a lot upside on USD so decided to balance after the news, because despite dollar index was supposed to see more upside but instead it dumped, and I had a buy bias , like I was so sure but it failed

Uncertainties 😂❤️

Enjoy.

My profits was massive although I closed EURUSD and USDCAD on little loss but gold minus their money and gave me change, so am not really disturbed on that

Okay! Reinvesting

Watching gold , but I will only trade if Gold gives me a fresh confirmation, and a clear invalidation below that swing low. If those conditions aren't there, I would rather wait than force another entry or wait to see if that structure holds after this week's news datas

You should have waited for 2pm Newyork and see how price will react, for me a validation is a close above 58.797, except that level no level can take price up, and currently price can still go down very well because of the fair value gap

Still holding my XAGUSD buys. Expecting the Rally after the close of the June monthly Candle.

Was expecting the FVG fill up as well, but it only filled it partially. not sure it's coming down again

I guess this failed because price broke below that level, 56.88, due to the strong rally am looking at 57.662 to 57.271 to buy but a break below 57.271 is my invalidation and change of bias.

Also note that the coming NFP will really change price direction and it will be impactful, because the market has been following headlines not really knowing where to go after fed rate statement cool off, so it's waiting for datas to work with

US ISM Manufacturing PMI fell to 53.3, below 53.8 expected and 54.0 previous, signaling slowing factory activity. This weakens the dollar, boosts gold, supports EUR/USD, and strengthens expectations for Federal Reserve rate cuts.
