The ftmo trial lets you test what the ftmo challenge will feel like before purchasing the challenge. ftmo is one of the few prop firms that offer a free trial. The ftmo trial runs on MT4 & MT5 platforms and once you register you will be sent your login details to logon to metatrader

I really appreciate FTMO for making this free challenge available and I wish other prop firms will follow in their footsteps.

I am currently using ftmo free trial on MT5 and I am impressed because they measure and monitor every thing I do with various metrics such as Win rate, Expectancy, Sharpe Ratio, Profit Factor, Average Risk Reward Ratio (RRR) etc.

I signed up for the ftmo free trial and it has changed the way i think about trading. I now use the ftmo performance metrics in my daily trading to measure if i am doing well and practising good risk management. Very enlightening experience i encourage everyone to try it, afterall what have you got to lose?

please why does the ftmo swing account have a lower leverage of 1:30 ?

The FTMO swing leverage is lower because it permits overnight holding of trades which is a high-risk strategy.

I think ftmo free trial is a demo of what the actual challenge will be like. During the ftmo free trial, you must abide by all the rules that are set for those who have bought the challenge. If you are new to prop firm trading, a free trial like this will get you familiar with the landscape.

It works just like the real thing. The loss limits, profit targets etc. are the same.
