How long does it take to learn forex trading

Anyone know the average time it takes to learn forex trading from the scratch to a level where you can become at least profitable?

I think it depends on how often you practice. I think when your practice every day and also study (read books, watch YouTube Videos etc.) it could take a couple of years.

Now you're gonna hate me for this but it took me and it could take you about 3 years of constant practice to really get good at forex.

And listen, its not just about practice out of those 3 years you should spend at least 1 year studying and reading so you understand the fundamentals.

The learning curve is different for everyone.

To understand the basics, I think one can learn all basics about technical analysis in 1-2 weeks easily, provided you know what to read & what not to.

You can start by watch basic supply & demand videos. I think that is all you would need to learn about basic technical analysis, then it is mostly time in the market.

But how long does it take someone to be consistently profitable, it depends (maybe few months, years, maybe never).

If you find a mentor who is profitable, there is a higher chance that you may get there. But if you are trying out different things, to find something that works for you, that self discovery could take more time.

Remember, don't pay any scammer any money to teach you trading. You can find real traders online who share free information.

There is no fixed time, because it depends on the person. It took me about one and half years to understand the market. I am still learning though.

Anyone with half a brain can learn forex trading in a couple of months but the mastery/steady profitability takes years.
