I'm still bullish on USDJPY. A break below 160.891 price region is what will confirm a bearish bias for me.

While Price is still confined to this Trend channel and keeps bouncing off the support, my bullish bias remains.

Last week on USDJPY ( Thurs, 2nd - Fri, 3rd July 2026), Price created a 1hr Double bottom at the 160.89 H-support and rallied this week. and Again on Friday, 10th july, price created another 1hr double bottom this time at 161.31 H-support region. a break above 161.89 price level, and we'll witness a rally this week.

Dxy is still struggling with low momentum to go higher, if it breaks the 100.949 and go higher then it will reach the 101.296 level which will cause a trend change or end of the retracement we are seeing on dxy

Price has created a weekly low at the 100.87-100.74 , although it isn't a strong one. I'll expect the week to start with buys, and later sells. I think it is staying at that zone waiting for CPI on Tuesday

A successful retest strengthens the breakout idea. I'd also watch for rising momentum or a higher low after the break, as that would add more confidence to the bullish continuation above 114.597

Yeah. I'll be watching too. But i'm watching out for double bottom formation at 114.03 price region. to confirm buyers are solid with their decision to rally price from that zone. Otherwise price might decline further to 113.79.

That's a sensible adjustment. Once a pattern is invalidated, it's better to reassess the order flow than force a setup. Patience often leads to cleaner, higher-probability entries.

Yeah. ability to quickly adapt to price changes and shift in structures as a trader is a valuable skill. One has to be both patient and flexible in decisions due to dynamic nature of price. Despite JPY pairs always having the same Trends, i often analyze them individually.

That 106.891 is a technical support level, but the break must occur with a high volume and good momentum

yeah. we might see more reactions at that 106.891 technical Support weeks to come USDJPY has been unable to close above July 2024 weekly high, at 161.952 despite trading above it for the past two weeks.

Cadjpy shows strong buyers confirmation and price reacted exactly at the level I drew the rectangle last week and the 114.597 level I said price would break about before I consider bullish strength, so for me it's time to buy cadjpy on pull backs

Exactly. Correlation helps with bias, but each JPY pair still reacts differently to its counterpart's fundamentals. That's why structure, momentum, and invalidation should be confirmed on the individual chart before taking a trade.

That scenario is reasonable. Markets often compress ahead of high-impact releases like CPI, so I will watch whether buyers can sustain the early move or if CPI becomes the catalyst that confirms the bearish continuation from that zone, but I will watch closely at 101.269 if CPI confirm more breaks upward then that becomes a very strong bounce for dxy

Repeated failures to secure a weekly close above that high suggest buyers are losing momentum. Unless that level is reclaimed convincingly, I'd treat rallies as vulnerable to profit-taking or a deeper pullback.

CADJPY- Analysis Update

Price rallied from the POI as marked last week, and formed a double on the LTF. the zone corresponded with your box.

The CADJPY technical confluences was very solid. A trend support confluencing with an invalidated trend resistance retest at an internal key support zone. Candlesticks confirmation on LTF further strengthens the confidence for buys at that zone.

Yeah. And Overall, JPY pairs are one of the cleanest Structure pairs to trade, and are very good for swings.

CADJPY and USDJPY has resumed their rally, While GBPJPY is yet to give confirmation to join the trend.

USDJPY- Price resumes another weekly attempt to close above that July 2025 high. let's see how it goes for the week.

A weekly close above that high would be far more meaningful than just trading above it intraday.watching US yields and BoJ expectations, as they'll likely determine whether the breakout holds or fails again

The 114.597 level has been taken out I have marked my next level of interest which is the present demand level, so I will wait for price to reach that level before initiating

That's a high-quality confluence. When trend structure, a retest, and lower-timeframe confirmation all align at a key support zone, the probability improves significantly. I'd only invalidate the bullish bias if price breaks that support decisively with strong momentum.
