Consider the fundamentals ahead, USD is moderately strong it's cooling off fundamentally but it's not crashing, just Look closely at the fundamental

The fundamentals is not until next week, my technical projection expires on Friday. After friday, i'll watch out for what's next, next week.

Your analysis is Okay , but you need to understand fundamentals the way you see structure

I'm not ignorant on Fundamentals, i only prioritize Technicals over it because fundamentals will not do anything different than confirming patterns that i see on my chart.

Why I'm team technicals over fundamentals- If there's a negative news to drive the dollar bearish, the sells will start from a resistance. If price was not a major resistance before the news, then price will drive up first to the nearest strong resistance, before going for a dump. it's a very straightforward principle.

But if price was already at a strong resistance, you'll witness it start to dump, without much stress. My goal as a trader and a technical analyst is to have a proper positioning before(if i had running trades) or after the news. I don't trade news, but it doesn't exempt me from knowing how it drives the market.

I'll be looking out for entry on two regions. 214.013 region, and 213.748 region

GBPJPY : TRADE PROJECTION

Trend Overview: Bullish

Timeframe: MN, WK, D1, H4, H1,

Technical outlook: On the Monthly, GBPJPY maintains it's 5 months bullish streak which resumed in March 2026, after February bearish month. It continues to maintain the Bullish channel, and is expected to rally to the monthly trend resistance possibly before the year is over.

GJ on weekly: Price opened and traded briefly below the weekly opening price, before continuing it's rally this week. It broke through the 216.002-215.464 Major Resistance region. I'll be expecting a rebound of this price region as a support, possibly in next week or next month.

GJ on Daily- Yesterday, price retested the high it created in 30th April 2026 before the major sell off on that Thursday. The Sell off was caused primarily by Yen currency intervention by Japan to support the yen after a prolonged months of weakness. This was their first Currency intervention in nearly 2 years.

After the retest of the high at 216.580 price region, price continued it's rally today.

Expect price to retrace into discount and will mean that price may come below that retest it made

Yeah. I'm expecting a retracement. But i'm looking at the retest at the 216.89-216.87 region.

Okay

This looks better. Price should retest that your level before continuing the buys

on UJ- Yeah. Price has been moving from the entry level progressively and currently at 162.677 resistance price level. if it doesn't break it before the news, FOMC will drive price down, before the buy continuations.

For a Sell on USDJPY, I'll expect a break below the 162.428 price region, and an invalidation of the trend support. then join on the retest of the same price level for the drop to the next internal horizontal support @161.89 price region. Otherwise, i'm still expecting a push to the upside.
