I just took a shot on this pair

Why did I take the short?

I have been bearish on this pair since last week and I’m bearish on it. On the 1hr timeframe, I had a breakout to the downside and the Asian session served as my liquidity. I entered immediately the Asian session was swept and I used the high as my invalidation zone.

This is the trade progress. 1:1r secured already. I will let it ride for more profits.

I can confidently close my trade here. That’s a sweet 1:2rr. Congrats to those who trade this pair

I’m bullish on this pair for today, there’s a breakout to the upside on the 4hrs timeframe. I will be on the lookout for buys.

We are bearish on the daily timeframe validated by the breakout to the downside and the low of that breakout is still standing. I will be on the lookout for sells today.

I entered the trade the moment the Asian session was swept and there was a rejection.

On 4hrs I had a breakout to the downside and the Asian session served as liquidity, i waited for the liquidity to be swept cos price will always attack liquidity.

Currently in profit, it will be nice closing the weeek with a win trade.

My trade is in massive profit and still has to potential to give me more profits but I won’t be greedy. I will close my trade here.

Looks like a 1:1 to me, which is fair enough.

yes I know. What I was also trying 2 say was if one is to exit a trade, there must be a reversal candlestick pattern that formed and that warrants exiting. Like in the screenshot 5 min NAs100 a reversal pattern is seen at the bottom

$14 is not massive profit though, if the bearish trend is still strong there is no need to close it.

Well, it is for me. That’s a 1:1rr trade for me and it’s actually enough for me. I could have left it to run but just decided not to.

Ohh, you are right about this. I tend to work with risk to reward ratio for exiting my trades. Sometimes I also exit where I see a liquidity.

I dont understand the way this nas100 is priced. I tried trading it and when i set my stop loss it was so huge that i had to close the trade immediately. @headies how much is the value of 1 pip for your 0.1 lot size?

This is what you wanted me to do, let the trade ride right? Well , I have secured enough profits. I can close now. Thank you.
