Hi guys, I created this thread to test NFP trading strategies both live and historically.

Thread Rules:

1.Please don't post anything that does not have to do with NFP here

2.Please backup anything you say with a chart image (no random comments)

3. All backtesting should be properly dated for reference

4.No swing trading, just day trading

5.No ICT jargon, speak in a language we will all understand

The NFP Strategy

After NFP is released, switch to the 15-minute timeframe, and wait for the first 15M candle to form. The high/low of the 15 M NFP candle acts as resistance/support respectively.

FRI 07 AUG 2026 Backtest

The first 15M candle that forms after the NFP release should be noted, and its high and low should act as key levels of resistance/support

Sell after spotting bearish engulfing pattern at the high of the NFP candle
