This one has to do with trading psychology. But, why do traders mourn the loss of funds more than they celebrate a win of an equal amount ?
Because of ego, the desire to always be right.
I think its general human nature
Experienced traders are not bothered about losses because even if they make a few losses, their net P&L could still be positive, and that's what matters to them.
The only reason a loss hurts you is that you didnt follow your strategy
The fear of losses causes us to hold onto losing trades and keep adjusting our stop loss to accommodate them
