Trading is easy to learn but hard to master
I created this thread to shed light on the length of time it takes to master trading versus the expectations people have. Over time I have noticed most people feel because they have traded for a year or two then they automatically have become masters of the game and nobody can tell them nothing so they refuse to learn new techniques and refuse to improve their overall game. Join the conversation please and lers know what you think about the above subject.
Mastering trading will need a lot of time, and you may need to treat trading like a job. To master trading, you need to seek knowledge far and wide then apply the knowledge. Lots of traders will not reach mastery because their ego wont let them seek knowledge.
Trading isn’t easy to learn and it takes time to master. Personally, I thought it was going to be easy learning trading but found out it wasn’t. I spent countless number of sleepless night just to comprehend what I was learning. After I was able to understand the terms and patterns, it wasn’t enough. Well, I’m getting better now but not yet a master.
Learning the basics is easy it can be learnt in 6 months. Its the mastery thats hard. Maybe ur confusing Learning with Mastery

Sir, it will take a serious minded person to learn the basics in six month. All still depends on the person willing to learn.
I think what @yokoyi means is learning when to buy and when to sell. Just those basic stuff, I have had students who learnt this is under 2 months. But it is nothing advanced. Once you begin to learn various strategies then you are no longer in the beginner phase, you have started your quest towards mastery!
