what is sierra chart platform, is it free to use?

A colleague of mine recommended i trade futures via sierra charting platform, he said it is really good. Please has anyone here used sierra charts, how intuitive is it and is it free?

Sierra chart is not for beginners, it is an advanced charting platform for trading futures, crypto and some forex pairs. Not every broker is supported on Sierra I think FXCM and a few brokers are supported.

Sierra chart is a charting software just like you have TradingView. Sierra chart is not free; you will need to subscribe to it for around $35. Sierra chart is very difficult to install and setup for proper functionality and the customer support is poor I tried downloading it and got stuck. I will update this thread when I am able to install it.

@Okoluh Sierra charting software is very customizable. Sierra lets you specify how you want everything on the charts to look like. This kind of customization is something I have not seen on other trading platforms like MetaTtader and TradingView. As a beginner it may be too advanced for you because you may find it difficult setting up the customization. Sierra will be ideal for professional/institutional traders who are concerned about specifics.

Sierra chart price is $26 per month for the base package. The advanced packages cost $36, $46 and $56 per month depending on the contents of the package.
