why is cfd trading so hard?

So, I really think cfd trading is hard, I am always tired after trading and nothing is really guaranteed. Who else feels this way?

CFD trading is hard because its not just about being a master of technical analysis, you also have to be a master of your own emotions.

Yeah, it is hard because most people only learn how to win but don't learn how to lose. In trading you need to learn how to lose too, how to accept losses and not be discouraged or angry or abandon your strategy etc.

After every loss, you need to carry out a postmortem to find out why you lost then you make the necessary adjustments.

Also, when you learn a new strategy, you also need to learn the emotion to use in executing the strategy. Without learning the emotion, you will not be able to execute the strategy the way it was designed for, you will end up either abandoning the strategy midway (due to fear) or applying your discretion thus ruining the strategy.

If I have a new strategy, I test it on a live account (not a demo account) using 0.01 lot size to minimize any losses. I test the strategy for several weeks using a small lot size so i learn the emotions behind executing it, before i try it on a bigger lot size.

Because most retail cfd traders are trading with insufficient capital so they get stopped out easily. Another reason is because there in cfd trading, it is possible to make money when price is rising and when price is falling. This creates room for greed and market chasing. When you trade in one direction and things do not go as planned, there is atendency to want to switch bias and trade the opposite direction. So, the market keeps taking you on a wild goose chase till you blow your account.
