Between xauusd and currency pairs, which is easier to trade?

I think it is currency pairs because for majorfx pairs the spread is lower and there is more information/data out there to guide you. For xau/usd most brokers may charge a higher spread and lower their leverage

Yes, currency pairs are easier to trade for me compared to Gold. For instance a pair like like EUR/USD is an economy against another economy. It means this pair is driven by two drivers. As a result of this, it’s difficult to have a surprise move🤣.

Gold is a commodity and has a many overlapping drivers . More drivers equals more surprise moves.
