Initially what I had on Gold yesterday were busy, but price printed a money transfer invalidating the buys. Immediately I spotted a sell continuation from the peak. The sells will be massive

Gold is setting up for a bearish continuation. ๐Ÿ“‰

Price has already shown weakness after the previous bullish structure failed.

We got a CHOCH โ†’ bearish BOS, and now I'm waiting for the retracement into my POI.

Sell Limit: 4651.70

SL: 4671.65

TP: 4564.94

Risk: 1%

RR: ~4.35R

XAUUSD is currently printing a bearish narrative.

Price failed to continue the previous bullish structure and shifted lower.

After the bearish displacement, I'm not chasing the move.

I'm waiting for price to retrace into the supply zone before looking for the continuation.

Gold gave us a clear structural shift.

The previous bullish structure was broken.

Then price displaced lower and printed another BOS.

Now I'm interested in the retracement.

Let price come back to the POI.

If it doesn't, there is no trade.

I'm not selling Gold simply because it's dropping.

I'm selling because the structure has shifted bearish.

We have:

โ†’ CHOCH

โ†’ Bearish displacement

โ†’ BOS

โ†’ Retracement

โ†’ Supply/POI

That's the sequence I'm looking for.

One thing I won't do with this Gold setup:

Chase the move.

Price has already made the bearish displacement.

I'd rather wait for a retracement toward 4651.70 and take the trade from my planned area.

Better location.

Defined risk.

Higher potential reward.

My XAUUSD thesis is simple:

Price retraces into 4651.70.

The bearish structure remains intact.

I take the short.

Targeting 4564.94.

If price breaks 4671.65, the setup is invalidated.

No moving the goalposts.

Gold has been giving us a good example of why structure matters.

The market was bullish.

Then the structure changed.

Instead of continuing to force a bullish bias, I followed the new information.

New structure = new bias.

Now I'm looking for shorts.

I'm targeting the downside on XAUUSD.

That's approximately 4.35R.

But the RR isn't the reason I'm taking the trade.

The reason is the bearish structure and location.

Risk first. Reward second.

Gold analysis ๐Ÿ“‰

Bearish now. The CHOCH followed by consecutive breaks of structure lower is the clearest signal yet that the bullish run has lost control.

The CHOCH was the first crack โ€” a change of character after weeks of higher highs. What confirmed it wasn't just that one shift, it's the BOS that followed right after, printing lower highs and lower lows in succession.

Price pushed back up into supply near 4,660-4,680 and got rejected hard, right back below the most recent BOS level. That reaction is consistent with sellers still being in control of this range.

Gold swept internal range liquidity on the way up into that supply zone before reversing. That's often more about clearing resting buy orders than any genuine shift back to bullish โ€” the reversal that followed tells the real story.
