Day 4 Commentary:

Today's performance was largely driven by Gold (XAUUSD), which provided several profitable opportunities. Despite experiencing an initial losing position and a few setbacks on GER40, I managed my exposure and recovered through subsequent trades.

The account is now up 1.50%, bringing total profits to $1,504.24.

The objective remains consistent: protect capital, maintain discipline, and focus on quality setups rather than chasing the leaderboard.

Four days down. The competition continues. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Day 3 Trading Summary
I took 2 trade setups today,
USDJPY- 3 positions (3 wins)
NAS 100- 2 positions (2 wins)
Adding AUDJPY which I forgot to delete my Limit order yesterday makes it 3 trade setups.(1 position- Loss)
My total Closed positions today = 6
Closing Account Balance = $101,340.36 (+1.3%)
Today's Position = 801st
Win Ratio = 56.5%
Profit Factor = 1.29

Comment: Today has been a mixed feeling day for me. I woke up to an SL I didn't expect after the losses I recovered yesterday.
I had a limit order on AUDJPY which I expected it to trigger that yesterday, but it didn't, and I forgot to delete it. This morning price dropped straight to my SL first before starting the rally I was expecting.
That's how I had to start looking for recovery setup to recover the losses just like yesterday and Monday.
Thankfully, I've been able to recover my losses for the 3rd time this week which has been a recurrent experience since on Monday.
Secondly, I've had high probability trade setups this week, but I'm pained I've not been able to maximize their potential by allowing my running trades reach their TP which by estimate would have given the account at least a 10% profit.
But that's where the process matters. The goal is to stay focus, consistent, keep learning and keep improving.
Hopefully I get to close the week on a winning streak at least as a consolidation.
Currently, the 3 days have been closed in profits, and 2 days is left to go.

DAY 4 Trading Summary
I took 6 trade setups today.
NAS 100- 2 positions (1 loss, 1 win)
JP225 (Nikkei)- 1 position (win)
AUDJPY- 1 position (breakeven)
EURJPY- 1 position (breakeven)
CADJPY- 1 position (breakeven)
GBPJPY-1 position (breakeven)
Total positions today = 7
Closing Account Balance = $102,138.37 (2.14%)
Today's position = 613th
Win Ratio = 61%
Profit Factor = 1.45

Comment: I just got to see that my JPY Trade Idea today was right all along and if I had not closed out at breakeven, I would have secured additional profits. But that's where learning comes in.
I held it for hours according to my core trading rule "4hr duration rule" throughout Asian session and price was still at my entry as at during Frankfurt session. That is what prompted me to close them.
Seeing the sells kick in during New York session makes me wonder if I would have exercised that much patience holding it throughout the day. This leads me to the decision to understudy JPY pairs and their behaviours throughout each session of the day for this month of November.
