CAD Pairs Market Analysis and Trade Setups

NZDCAD respected the bearish channel and continues with the sell.
I'll like to see it break below 0.7980. That will give sell continuation entries with 0.8064 as invalidation level which is above today's high.

I suspected that the sells will resume so I closed it today

NZDCAD- Price respected the support level and didn't break below it today. This confirms that price is in a range. It's best to trade within the range until there's a major breakout on either side although the bearish channel shows price might still be favoring sells more than buys.

For a sell setup, Entry: 0.8025, SL: 0.8038, TP: 0.7988.

AUDCAD- price didn't get to my sell entry, but it sold.
I had my Entry zone at: 0.9989
SL: 1.0012.

Where were you selling from?

I also had interest on gold sells and my entry was above 0.99685, but I decided to remove it since they are both Risk driven pairs, but the sells is due to AUD weak fundamentals

Exactly the Reason I decided to close it after much fundamental check, I noticed nzd was still bearish while cad was a bit stronger, fundamentally so I decided to close because fundamentals tells the "why"and technical tells the "where"

AUDCAD has set up a clear intraday downtrend channel signalling its readiness to continue the sells. The day has already started with sells. I'll wait to see how the current 4hr closes by 10am for an opportunity to position for sell.

I didn't set limit but will look out for re-entries.

It's still okay, I don't always like setting limits when price is approaching a level because it might want to run above the level or respect it , so I mark out my levels and wait for price to react before I take my trades, for the nzdcad I will wait for the bearish trend to fade out before I look for buys

AUDCAD is testing a key support around 0.9891 after failing again near the 0.9968 resistance. The reaction here is important—holding support with bullish displacement could create a bounce, but a clean H4 break and retest below 0.9891 would strengthen the bearish case toward the next lower levels so all I will do is wait and don't rush the sells
