booked all for 12.5 pips(last trade) +5 net. I feel averse as i screwed up with the original entry so walking away today.

1.1 is obvious resistance and if it breaks we may go to 1.1019. I still would be inclined to go long but on pullbacks only.

You have to be flexible while trading, can't be rigid.

The rules of entry have to be rigid and exist criteria should be rigid and clear. But you have to be flexible enough to adjust with the market if the original thesis is voided.

So let's say you have a buy at market you need to know when to cut it if it is not working and if the market is giving sell signals you have to take them.

Chart:

The london low at 1.0980 should be support and needs to break for further selling. So it is a buying area.

I'm Long at 828 near the Frankie range. The stop is below the Frankie low. If it moves in my direction, I'll push it to BE & hold it during NY if the price is moving. Or I get stopped out.

How do you know when to track it

Do you mean when to trade it?

a. Ideally, you would want to track/trade it during the Frankfurt open. I mean 7-8AM London time. You can calculate it based on where you are based in.

Mark the Asian range, and then look for a break to one side. That is the lowest risk entry.

b. Or you can trade the retest.

For example, attached is the London session range for today. Not always, but sometimes you will get a retest of the session high or low. If you did not enter during London start of Frankfurt open, you can trade the retest.

But, very late in the session, avoid trading the retests. For example, NY is starting in 5 minutes. It is possible for NY to spike the previous session high lows.

I'm long at 64, at the pullback near the London high. The stop is just below. If the 15M close is not good I'll be out of this position.
