Dax Trade Update:
I've closed out on my positions I took yesterday and will wait for price to break out of the range.

Day 2 Funding Pips Dashboard Summary
I've not closed any trades in profit on the account yet.
Section 1: shows I'm down by 0.8%
And this diagram points to SL Usage.
They also have a general dashboard (Trade desk), that is separate from your account dashboard.

I've noticed on FundingPips you can't manage trades through their dashboard. That means, you can only modify your trades through MT5, so the information displayed on the platform are Read-only.

some platforms allow you to be able to close your trades through the platform and incorporate Live market charts on their platform where you can manage your trades or execute trades without going through an external app, but funding pips does not have this feature.

Funding Pips Dashboard Trade Summary (Day 1 and 2)

I held the Dax, Nas 100, and GBPCAD trades overnight and closed out this morning.
I've noticed Funding Pips don't charge commissions on Indices, but they charge swaps.
And for Currencies, they charge both swaps and commissions

Their Contract sizes on Indices is higher than that of FTMO. For Example
contract size of Nas 100 is 1 on FTMO, but 20 on Funding pips.
contract size of Ger 40 is 1 on FTMO, but 25 on Funding pips.

This means that 1 standard lot position on NAS 100 in FTMO is an equivalent of 0.05 mini lot position in Funding Pips.

Almost same policy with FTMO

The prop firm I am trying out now (CTI) has mostly "micro lot instruments" for example their oil is called XTI/USDc so you have to trade really big lot sizes to make any meaningful profit. It makes lot size selection kind of confusing if you are not used to it but it is good for beginners. For oil I had to trade as high as 500 micro lots to make any reasonable profit

Yeah. They have similar policy, but few differences.
But I think Funding Pips are a bit more transparent with their charges than FTMO, because of the type of Accounts.

The FTMO account I opened was swing, this funding pips is standard, and I didn't see demo for swing type, and Funding Pips has plenty types of account than FTMO.
So, because they have more, they'll tend to be honest with the packages, so you'll know what you're signing up for. That's what I think though.

Funding Pips has 14 types of Prop Accounts.

That's bad though because instruments like this should be using standard lots not micro lots

That's where, as a Trader, one must understand Lot sizing deeply to really make the most of the trade setups because it often differs because of contract sizes for trading instruments like commodities and Indices.
For Currencies its mostly the same, that's why most people don't really know about it.
If you trade Indices and energy instruments a lot on these prop firms and brokers, you'll spot the differences in the weight of your lot sizes and that can impact your trade a lot making you think you're over risking or under risking an account whereas you just have to know how to tune it to match what you want.

So, for prop firm trading, it's not always about using big lot sizes, but using the right lot sizes per trade in alignment with what they offer, especially with instruments outside currencies.

Also, if you have account across different prop firms, let's say 3, and you want to place the same trade setup across the accounts using the same risk on the particular asset especially on a non-currency asset, you have to check the instrument's specifications in MT5 especially for their contract size, point value, minimum lot and maximum lot for the instrument across the 3 different prop firms, to be able to execute effectively, because it often differs.

DAX Trade Summary
Trade didn't hit TP; I closed out manually.
At first, closing it felt like I was cutting the profit short cause price had the potential to reach my TP, but seeing the sharp reversal at my TP region it sort of gave me thoughts If it would have hit TP before reversing or it would have been a near-TP experience.
The bullish momentum was tempting to hold and expect it to pump to New All-time highs, but I recalled I needed to secure profit to cover up losses, so I closed it at the resistance level.

Profit +$221.35
