The GER40 is the trading symbol used by many brokers to represent the DAX, which is Germany’s main stock market index. The name GER40 simply means Germany’s 40 largest publicly traded companies.

The index is managed by Deutsche Börse and tracks the performance of the biggest companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, one of the largest stock exchanges in Europe.

What GER40 Represents

GER40 reflects the overall strength of the German economy, which is the largest economy in Europe. Because Germany is a major exporter and industrial power, the index is often influenced by global trade, manufacturing data, and European economic conditions.

Some of the major companies inside the index include:

Siemens

SAP

BMW

Volkswagen

Adidas

If most of these companies perform well, the GER40 index rises. If their stock prices fall, the index declines.

This pair looks bearish on the daily timeframe, so it’s advisable to look for sells the moment. I don’t have any support zone yet that can sponsor buys. I will be looking for sell setups on lower timeframes.

How do we know what this SLK strategy is?
