Hi, please which session would you say is the best time to trade GER40?
New York session is actually the best. More volatility during this session. Majority of my trades play out most in this session.

GER 40 is a European Index so I doubt it is best traded during New York session because the DAX exchange in Germany opens around 9 am GMT & closes by 4:30 pm GMT and liquidity is highest during this window. I don't trade DAX but I suppose it should be best traded during a European session not an American session.

Well, based on my experience volume kicks in during New York session. You can do a little backtest to verify. Thank you

Best time to trade DAX is between 8 am and 4 30 pm during the main European trading session. There are many ETFs that track the DAX and these ETFs are traded daily during the main exchange hours causing liquidity to be highest when the DAX exchange is open
