Hi, please which session would you say is the best time to trade GER40?

New York session is actually the best. More volatility during this session. Majority of my trades play out most in this session.

Let’s see how this GER40 short will play out. This pair has been slow for some days now.

GER 40 is a European Index so I doubt it is best traded during New York session because the DAX exchange in Germany opens around 9 am GMT & closes by 4:30 pm GMT and liquidity is highest during this window. I don't trade DAX but I suppose it should be best traded during a European session not an American session.

I’m closing this short also here. The goal was to do 1:1rr and it’s done. I know the pair is still going to dump massively but profit secured.

Well, based on my experience volume kicks in during New York session. You can do a little backtest to verify. Thank you

Best time to trade DAX is between 8 am and 4 30 pm during the main European trading session. There are many ETFs that track the DAX and these ETFs are traded daily during the main exchange hours causing liquidity to be highest when the DAX exchange is open

BIAS FOR THE WEEK: BEARISH

I am still bearish on this pair until the daily low is taken as shown in the image attached.

On the 4hrs timeframe, we had a breakout to the downside to validate the bearish bias shown on the daily timeframe. I’m currently waiting for price to sweep the Asian Session Liquidity . Afterwards, i will find an entry.

The bearish bias still holds for this pair cos we still have daily standing.

This trade was analyzed yesterday with the hope of entering today but it has started playing out already. I will look for continuation entry on lower timeframe.
