How to calculate 0.1 lot size in dollars
0.1 lot is 10,000 units of an instrument so if you want to trade EUR/USD whose exchange rate is currently 1.1600 and your leverage is 1:3000 then 0.1 lot will be worth (10,000 units x 1.1600)/3000 = $3.86
This means you must have at least $3.86 in your trading account before your broker will allow you open a 0.1 lot size position on EUR/USD using a leverage of 1:3000.
You can use the formula below to calculate it,
Dollar Value = (Pip Value of 1 Lot) × (Your Lot Size)
Examples
1 lot EURUSD = $10 per pip
0.1 lot EURUSD = $10 × 0.1 = $1 per pip
1 lot USDJPY ≈ $9.17 per pip
0.1 lot USDJPY ≈ $0.917 per pip
Note: For any USD pair:
0.1 lot ≈ $1 per pip
For any JPY pair:
0.1 lot ≈ $0.9 per pip
Nice one @headies but this is why I like cTrader, it shows me the pip value always.
cTrader seems to have some cool features ! But not many brokers offer cTrader and the platform looks so scary
Yes, cTrader is a little bit more than most can handle, you need to be a high volume trader to appreciate the features cTrader offers. if not, cTrader will just look like an overkill to you.

I actually haven’t tried that platform before seriously. Now that you said it’s good, I will check it up.
