Yes, you must trade for at least three working days and ensuring you make at least 0.5% profit for each of those three days. If this is done, you have obeyed the rule.

I’m currently still trading the phase 1 of this 10k 2 step maven account and one thing I have noticed is their spread. The spread is a bit high. I hope they can reduce it a little.

Spread on which instrument? Any screenshots we can see ?

1.4 pips on GBP/USD is high though, at Trade Nation it is 0.6 pips

Gold is around 4pips while some brokers give zero spread for Gold

Thats FxPro style spread, they have some really high spread at FxPro which caused me to go for their raw spread account so I could get lower spread and I pay a commission in return. But, even at that they still charge 0.4 pips plus $3.5 per side commission on EUR/USD

With that kind of spread at Maven you need to always set a wide stop loss, you cannot afford to set a tight stop

I am not so sure of that. I’m currently trading their 10k 2step account and it doesn’t have the consistency ratio.

Maven just closed a trade for me, i can’t believe it. I was up 120$ on this trade and I came to see it has been closed. I don’t think I like this at all

Did they close it at a loss?

No, they closed with a profit of 1:1rr. It’s more like they adjusted my stoploss cos i didn’t adjust it

Maybe they increased the spread mid-trade due to some news release you could chat their customer support to find out why then update us

The spread for gold on this firm is high. Took a trade on gold this early morning, and my loss was more than the actual amount I risked. I might likely not trade gold on this firm again.

But like how many pips is their spread on gold? High can be relative we need to know the average spread so as to be able to compare it to what other platforms offer.
