As usual I have marked out the pre-Nasdaq open range from 1:30 - 2:30 pm and today I do something different: I have placed pending orders at the edge of the box to catch the opening burst in price movement.

I get that index futures or CFDs like US Tech 100 often get adjusted downward on ex-dividend dates to account for dividends paid by constituent companies. Makes sense.

Every time a company pays out dividend, it's stock price reduces hence the dividend adjustment

Market on Open Orders (MOO) are a culprit, but there could be other reasons too.
I am long on nas100 because price just interacted/rejected at the lower edge of the pre-nasdaq open hour range and is going up.
