The SLK strategy is a simple term that stands for
Structure (market structure), Liquidity and Key Level.
It's a good continuation strategy.
Welcome to the New York session, the Nasdaq stock exchange opened by 1:30 pm UTC+1 and I have marked out the 1-2 pm range to capture the start of the general NY session and the start of the Nasdaq open. I will now wait for price to break out of the range from either upward/downward direction before deciding on what to do

SL blown on this trade
Yesterdays trade analysis
A buy opportunity when price broke out of the lower Nasdaq open range (ash colored box) and started reversing back into it.
Welcome to NY trading. The Nasdaq SE has opened by 9 30 am American time of 2 30 pm UTC+1 in Nigeria.
Today we are testing a strategy where I mark out the Pre-Nasdaq (Pre-NQ) open auction range from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. I have marked it out in a black box.
Price has broken out of the upper Pre-NQ range and formed a bearish engulfing which seems like a sell signal to me.
I have been stopped out of this trade by a massive bullish candle.
Update: the price just dribbled me today 😂
Welcome to NY trading. The Nasdaq stock exchange just opened by 9 30 am American time or 2:30 pm UTC+1 in Nigeria. But before the Nasdaq opened, I boxed in the Pre-Nasdaq hour of 1 :30 - 2:30 pm. Now I will wait for price to breakout of the range (black box) and the higher time frames are all bullish so I may be looking to buy.
Price has broken out of the upper Pre-Nasdaq range and tried to reject but wasnt successful so it kept going up. So, I have taken a long trade.
The trade has entered profitability, I am looking at a 1:3 which is around $15 profit before I close the trade.
I am closing the trade for $16 profit. I am done for the day. See you tomorrow!
Welcome to NY trading, the Nasdaq exchange opened by 2:30 pm UTC+1 NG time. I have boxed out the 1 hour before the Nasdaq opened (1:30 - 2:30 pm). Price has also broken out of the box so i am still observing its action. On the H1 time frame, price has been ranging after an upward run so a breakout of the range in either direction will be what I will trade.
I have taken a long trade after price broke out of the upper Pre-Nasdaq range, rejected and kept going up.
The trade is in profit atm.
Are you targeting the top of that green zone or further?
What's your plan if it pulls back?

Yes, that was my target, I set the stop loss later. Meanwhile TP has been hit
