TADING WEEK/MONTH EXPERIENCE.
I will be starting today because the trading week and month ends today. Thank you. i will love to hear from you all.
MONTHLY TRADING EXPERIENCE FOR JANUARY 2026.
I actually started the month of January very well. The first week I took 5 trades and I won 2 and lost 3. The two trades i won gave me a 6RR and the three trades I lost gave me 3RR . It means I ended the week with a 3RR. This means if I was risking 100$ per trade, I made 300$ for that week. I was profitable for the first week.
Second week of January was also a profitable week. I took a total of 8 trades . I won 3 and lost 5 . The three trades I won gave me 9RR and the five trades I lost were 5RR. It means I ended the week with 4RR profit. This means if I risked 100$ on every trade , I made 400$ at the end of the week.
The second week also ended profitable for me.
Third week of January wasn’t really a good week for me at all. I didn’t follow my trading rules and strategy. I had back to back losses. I took five losses in a row. It was so frustrating. The last day of the week which was on Friday, I took one more trade on USDCHF which was a win. I made 5RR on that trade. The trade reduced my loss for that week.
In summary, I ended that week with a loss of 1RR.
Lastly, this week was the worst of it all😭, I had 5 back to back losses and no win . I wish had stopped trading for this month the second week cos I had made enough but greed wouldn’t allow me stop trading.
Overall, I still ended the month profitable with a 1R profit.
LESSONS LEARNT FROM JANUARY TRADING EXPERIENCE.
1. Stick to your rules
2. Know when to stop trading.
3. Wait for confirmation on lower timeframes.
4 Don’t trade on Mondays🤣🤣. It sounds funny but all my trades on Monday this month were losses.
I hope you all will also learn from this thread and i will be waiting to read everyone’s trading experience for the month of January.
I trade EUR/USD mostly and last week the prevailing pattern was fake of pre-franky high/low. The pre-franky hour is basically between 6-7 am UTC.

My Trading Experience For The First Week Of February 2026.
I took just three trades this week. The first trade was a win of 2rr) actually did a 3rr but didn’t close it until 2rr). The remaining two trades were loss.
I didn’t make any money this week, it ended as a breakeven week for me. Selah.
Last week on EUR/USD, Monday set the high and low for the entire week. Last monday was a trending day, so lets see if this Monday will also be a trending day for EUR/USD
This week I had more losses. I took 5 trades and lost 4 of the five trades. The reason for the losses have been studied and will be improved upon.

I suggest you share the reason for the losses here if not whats the point of creating this thread? I also think those commenting on the thread should add more depth to what they are posting such as images and analysis.

Reason for losses.
1. Poor mismanagement of risk. There was a usdjpy sell trade that I took , i didn’t properly calculate the lotsize to use and by the time i entered the trade and I set my stoploss, it was beyond the amount I was willing to risk. Foolishly, I opened another position when the was going against me with the right lotsize hoping that the price will come down and I would close the first position ( the one with the wrong lotsize), both trades ended in loss. Lost more than the amount i wanted to risk.
This was the major reason for the losses I had this week, others were normal losses.
Again, Monday set the EUR/USD high and low for the weeks trading just like it happened last week. This might be a trend for the coming weeks with Mondays always trending and setting high/low. I didnt really trade this week but I just observed the markets.
