Gold is in a consolidation phase, resting from the heavy sell move last week in preparation for the next phase this month.
I had this setup on Gold.
Entry: 4110
SL: 4089
I didn't set limit because I was waiting for confirmation before entry, but I missed it.

XAUUSD SELL SETUP ๐Ÿ“‰

Gold took out the previous high with a wick, failed to continue higher, and has since been delivering bearish price action.

I'm looking to join the sellers from the valid 15M order block.

Entry: 4142.40

SL: 4149.44

TP: 4104.53

Targeting the weak low / sell-side liquidity.

Gold gave me the liquidity grab I wanted.

Price wicked above the high, rejected the area and started moving lower.

Now I'm waiting for the retracement into the order block.

SELL @ 4142.40

SL @ 4149.44

TP @ 4104.53

The idea is simple: sell the retracement, target the liquidity below.

XAUUSD SHORT IDEA

The high was taken with a wick.

Instead of holding above the high, price reversed and started printing bearish order flow.

That makes the order block below the retracement interesting to me.

Entry: 4142.40

SL: 4149.44

TP: 4104.53

~5.4R potential.

I'm not interested in chasing Gold lower.

The move has already started.

My plan is to wait for price to retrace into the valid order block and join the continuation.

Entry: 4142.40

SL: 4149.44

Gold's current structure gives me a bearish narrative:

Liquidity taken โ†’ rejection โ†’ bearish displacement โ†’ retracement โ†’ continuation.

I'm looking for the retracement into my OB.

SELL: 4142.40

STOP: 4149.44

TARGET: 4104.53

The weak low is the objective.

XAUUSD 15M SELL

Price took the high.

But the breakout didn't hold.

That wick above the high followed by the bearish move tells me liquidity was taken and price is now looking lower.

I'm joining from the order block:

4142.40 entry

4149.44 SL

4104.53 TP

Risk defined. Target defined. Now I wait.

The important part of this Gold setup isn't simply that price is falling.

It's where the sell comes from.

I have a valid order block after the liquidity grab, so I'm waiting for price to retrace into it.

SL: 4149.44

Gold sellers have control for now.

The high was raided with a wick and price has been dropping since.

I'm looking for one thing:

Retracement โ†’ Order Block โ†’ Sell โ†’ Weak Low.

๐Ÿ“‰ Entry: 4142.40

SL: 4149.44

TP: 4104.53

No need to force the entry.

My XAUUSD bearish thesis:

Price needed liquidity above the high.

It took it.

The continuation failed.

Now price is moving toward the opposite side of the range, where the weak low is sitting.

I'll look to join the move from the order block.

SELL @ 4142.40

SL @ 4149.44

TP @ 4104.53

If sell-side liquidity is taken cleanly, the move can potentially extend beyond the initial TP.

XAUUSD SELL PLAN ๐Ÿ“‰

This is the setup I'm watching:

Liquidity grab above the high โœ…

Bearish reaction โœ…

Valid order block โœ…

Weak low below as target โœ…

Entry: 4142.40

SL: 4149.44

TP: 4104.53

Risk: ~7 points

Reward: ~38 points

R:R: ~5.4R

I'm not predicting.

I'm simply executing the setup if price returns to my level.

I wasn't triggered and the selling momentum was really great

I didn't imagine the sells could be so massive at first I was in a buy almost to hit my tp the spike immediately reversed and that was how the sells started and I had to close the buys in loss

XAUUSD SELL STOP ๐Ÿ“‰

Supply has started holding and price is currently trading above my trigger level.

I'm not chasing the move.

I'm waiting for price to come down and trigger my sell stop.

Entry: 4118.18

SL: 4133.17

TP: 4066.65

If price doesn't trigger the order, I don't have a trade.

Gold is showing rejection from the supply area.

Now I'm waiting for confirmation through price breaking the lower level.

SELL STOP: 4118.18

SL: 4133.17

TP: 4066.65

The target is the weak low / sell-side liquidity.

My XAUUSD plan is simple:

Supply is holding โ†’ price remains below the recent highs โ†’ I want the downside continuation.

Instead of selling prematurely, I've placed a sell stop at:

Entry 4118.18

SL: 4133.17

TP: 4066.65

Let price trigger the setup.

Gold sell setup

The supply zone has started doing its job.

I'm not interested in predicting the exact top.

I want price to prove the bearish continuation by breaking 4118.18.

Entry: 4118.18

SL: 4133.17

TP: 4066.65

That's approximately 3.4R.

Why?

Because supply has started holding and I want confirmation that sellers are actually taking control.

Gold doesn't need to fall immediately for my setup to work.

XAUUSD bearish scenario ๐Ÿ“‰

We've got supply holding at the highs.

Now I'm watching the lower boundary.

A break below 4118.18 activates my sell.

๐ŸŽฏ Target: 4066.65

๐Ÿ›‘ Invalidation: 4133.17

The weak low is the draw on liquidity.
