For me the surge on gold could be that he hasn't been specific or said anything about rate hike again and is talking on been data dependent and now no safe heaven investors are leaving dollar to gold and stock because stock is reversing and I have placed a sell order in usdcad if it gets to 4pm and the confirmation level is still active a close below the London lows I will short usdcad because cad news came out good today so Canadian dollar is getting stronger against us dollar

If gold breaks above that intermediate high then we shall see more upside on gold

Clearing the weekly swing@3962 strengthens the bullish case, but I'd still want buyers to defend the next pullback, then take price above 4096. Losing that structure would invalidate the continuation idea.
