XAUUSD TRADING ANALYSIS

I'm rooting for buyers on Gold, but I need a clear setup so I can engage

I'm only staying bullish if buyers reclaim and hold key structure. Without that confirmation, I'd rather stay flat than chase the move.

I get...

Price can be so unpredictable

That's very correct, which is why I rely on structure and reactions instead of predictions. A clear entry and invalidation level matter more than trying to forecast every move. Like the USDCAD trade I took, immediately that Kevin warsh speech and I saw that reaction I knew it was going to sell down, and I so much love the entry I took

Looking at gold from a lower timeframe perspective, it has a double bottom which seems to be a liquidity area @4030 from my view if price sweeps that level and closed above it to 4096 the bullish trend will continue but a strong break below can cause more downside but still wait for reactions

I am expecting a bearish movement to clear out the downward slope. Which will be followed by a bullish movement.

I have same view for gold at the moment, looking for that double bottom @4030 to be swept with a quick reversal then a break above 4096 level to confirm buyers are taking control, I will wait for reactions , won't go aggressive at all

In SMC, you'll be taught that market structure is king. That's what I follow always

Structure gives the bias, while liquidity and POIs simply refine the entry. If structure fails, I reassess the entire setup.

If price breaks below that 4060 level, I'll consider Gold bearish

That is an internal structure not an external structure, if you consider gold bearish at that level what happens to 4030 and that is also an internal structure
