AUDUSD outlook

I'm not judging this AUDUSD trade solely by the outcome.

The question I'll ask during review is:

Did the setup satisfy my rules when I entered?

If yes, then it's simply a losing trade within the system.

If I skipped a confirmation, then there's something to correct.

That's how I want to evaluate my losses.

One thing I won't do after this AUDUSD loss is immediately look for another buy just because my first idea was bullish.

Price has aggressively broken through the level that was supposed to hold.

That is new information.

I'll reassess the structure before taking another position.

No attachment to bias.

That reversal on AUDUSD was brutal. 😂

Price went from pushing toward my target to completely collapsing through the entry.

But this is exactly why one trade should never have enough risk to damage the account.

Small controlled loss.

Survive the bad trades so you're around for the good ones.

This one didn't work out.

Price triggered my buy around 0.71930, traded higher initially, but eventually reversed aggressively and took out my SL.

Entry: 0.71930

SL: 0.71902

TP: 0.72050

Loss accepted. On to the next.

I shorted this pair yesterday and took a loss, this was the sell I was expecting. Today that you bought, it took you out too. It's just been crazy.
