The buys I took was valid, but price was overbought at that point and also coupled with the news

Yeah. AUDUSD buys where at its peak and really needed a cool down, and that's what happened on Friday, forming a bearish Engulf.

Buys are valid since the week is just starting, but I'll be looking out for sells.

AUDUSD continues to respect the bullish structure.

After sweeping the low marked X, price broke structure to the upside and has continued holding above my key demand area.

As long as that structure remains protected, I'm still interested in the upside.

Target: 0.72084

The most important thing for me right now isn't every small pullbackβ€”it's the structure.

AUDUSD swept liquidity from the lows and followed it with a bullish BOS.

Price has since remained above the protected area.

Until that changes, my bullish thesis remains valid.

The trade is moving, but we're still some distance away from the final target.

Current price is around 0.71657, while I'm targeting 0.72084.

This is where patience becomes part of the strategy.

Entering a good trade is one skill. Allowing it enough room to reach its objective is another.

I'm watching the short-term AUDUSD structure closely.

After the bullish BOS, price has started building higher lows above the demand/entry region.

That's exactly what I want to see while holding a long position.

No reason to interfere with a trade simply because it isn't moving vertically.

The market doesn't owe me an immediate expansion after entry.

AUDUSD is consolidating while still respecting the bullish structure.

My focus remains simple:

Hold above 0.71611 β†’ bullish continuation remains possible.

The larger objective remains 0.72084.

Let price do its thing.

I'm not holding because I hope price goes higher.

I'm holding because the technical reason behind the trade hasn't been invalidated.

Liquidity sweep βœ…

Bullish BOS βœ…

Demand respected βœ…

Bullish structure intact βœ…

Until the market gives me evidence otherwise, there's no reason to abandon the original plan.

One lesson trading keeps reinforcing:

A trade doesn't become wrong simply because price retraces.

AUDUSD has pulled back several times since the initial bullish shift, yet the key structure continues to hold.

The question isn't β€œIs price pulling back?”

It's β€œHas my setup been invalidated?”

Very different questions.

My eyes remain on the highs.

The larger upside objective sits around 0.72084, and there's still plenty of price delivery required before we get there.

I'm allowing the market room to work rather than micromanaging every 30-minute candle.

Structure first. Emotions second.

First day of September and AUDUSD buys remain active.

After last week's volatility, I'm focusing heavily on disciplined execution and letting the strategy play out.

Price is still holding above the key bullish area, so I'm sticking with the plan.

Now we see whether buyers can deliver the next expansion.

AUDUSD remains bullish from my perspective.

Price swept the previous low, shifted structure with a bullish BOS and has continued respecting the demand region around 0.71611.

We're currently around 0.71657, with my main objective sitting at 0.72084.

For now, the setup remains alive.

No unnecessary adjustments. No emotional management.

Just structure, risk management and patience.
