Are you a structure pattern trader? I have seen all your markings it's all patterns, I created a new thread on how smart money builds position, using the example on the image, I have been seeing this occur all the time and repeating all the time to I decided to put it out to everyone maybe you can look at it

I'm a Technical Analyst. Structures and Patterns are just one of many things i use in analyzing market behavior, but that's a cool name by the way. If seeing me that way, helps in understanding how i approach market, i'm very okay with it.

This is my Gold Mappings. Just to add to what you mentioned, Gold price is currently being driven by the strength of dollar. Hence, i'll only look out for zones and levels that closely corresponds with DXY zones and POIs. Macro data are not left out either. There are times that i'll analyze them independent of each other. all depends on Market behaviour and Economic factors.

This is cool. I'll be picking my buys from the 24450-24400 region. if it gets there by tomorrow or Friday. Outside of the Daily Head and Shoulders, i've spotted another one on 4hrs

I always love to see price complete their formation, then i'll expect long term buys. Upon completion, it will confirm my entry region which is a Daily horizontal Support, that confluences with a Daily TrendLine Support. Then i'll wait for a daily bullish candlestick confirmation entry. before switching to 4hr or 1hr for execution.

I closed the trade in a little profit, but the price movement was too slow

The Xetra exchange in Frankfurt has just opened for normal trading. But I have boxed out the early trading & auction hour of 8 - 9 am. I will wait for price to breakout of the box and form a reversal pattern before I engage

Bearish engulfing reversal pattern spotted so I am short DE40. SL at 912 and profit target at 787 (the other end of the black box)

SL blown. Normally when the first reversal pattern fails, it could signal the market intends to move in the opposite direction for the remainder of the day

Reason for sell decision is that price interacted with the lower xetra early trading range (lower part of the box), then tried to go up and failed.

Yeah. Dxy sell retracements will cause Gold Buys next week.

The sell off yesterday was just too much after the PCI news that came out even good, I was having bullish bias on dxy, after the news but the market priced in a different direction, the sell off started from 101.7 level I thought there would be a reversal at 101.471 but price broke that level and I got stopped out on EURUSD and USDCAD trades

Didn't see this early, although I have a plan if price breaks below that support level at 24737 with a strong momentum I will look at the 24852 and 24895 level for a more downside
