I'm still bearish on gold for now,

Gold is still bearish... but with the rate of reduction in inflation rate. I am thinking of seeing gold bullish.

My view is that the Fed is closer to cutting rates than hiking, but I don't think they'll cut immediately just because inflation is easing. They'll want several months of consistent disinflation, signs that the labor market is cooling without deteriorating sharply, and confidence that inflation is moving sustainably toward 2%. If upcoming Core PCE, CPI, NFP and unemployment data continue to soften together, the probability of a rate cut increases significantly. Until then, I expect the Fed to remain cautious and data-dependent, which means every major economic release will continue to shape market expectations and the direction of the US Dollar.

Looking at this set-up now, there hasn't really been any sign of invalidation, so holding till it got to ur tp would've been better

Or has it gone against you?๐Ÿ‘€
