Yh, for me, I feel indicators work best as secondary confluences

That's a solid approach. Confluences improve confidence, but I'd still let price action and market structure make the final decision. If they disagree, I trust price first.

For me .... demo trading one month is alot enough the person. Once you have a good ludiment tutorial just practice for one or two month then move into live trading.

That is where the real team TRADING makes sense. Cus many pressure and emotional balance checking and conviction take place. But, it is always advisable to start with little capital once you newly start with a live account.

There's no fixed timeline. A trader should move to a live account only after consistently following a tested strategy, applying sound risk management, understanding how major fundamental events affect price, and remaining disciplined over a meaningful sample of trades. Starting with a small account also helps build emotional control without taking unnecessary risk.

I want to trade because I desire financial independence

Financial independence is a strong goal, but consistency gets you there. A profitable trader focuses on protecting capital, managing risk, and following a repeatable plan rather than chasing quick profits.

Caught this set-up on AU . what do think will happen. With AU moving toward the next liquidity zone though the over all trend is bearish.

Well....going long rn isn't a good idea for me sha. The reason is bcos, although the overall trend is bullish, present sentiment on 4h is still very bearish. So I'd rather just wait

Yesssss, a strategy that works(at least 40% of the time) is way more important than the amount of time you use in demo trading

A 40% win rate is enough if the expectancy is positive. With a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio, disciplined execution and consistent risk management become more important than trying to increase the win rate, e.g on my uk100 trade right now, I risked 466 naira to make 2k that's 1:5RR it's already more than 1:3RR already so now with this discipline and precise risk to reward I have a repeatable process as a trader that's what counts not the time
