Fundednext 14 days Free Trial

Starting another 14-Day Prop Firm Free Trial, this time with FundedNext. 📊

Fresh account: $100,000

Profit Target: $5,000 (5%)

Daily Loss Limit: $5,000 (5%)

Maximum Loss: $10,000 (10%)

After finishing my FTMO trial in drawdown, I'm approaching this one differently. The previous challenge exposed some weaknesses in my execution and risk management, especially allowing my average losses to become significantly larger than my average wins.

This time I'm implementing my dynamic risk management strategy.

The goal is simple: protect the downside first and earn the right to increase risk.

When I'm in drawdown, risk stays reduced. As the account moves into profit and creates a cushion, I can gradually become more aggressive. A losing streak shouldn't be able to destroy the account before my trading edge has enough trades to play out.

I'll still be trading my usual SMC, liquidity and market-structure setups, but I'll be much more selective with execution.

This isn't just about hitting the 5% target.

For the next 14 days, I'm looking for:

Better risk management. Fewer unnecessary trades. Smaller drawdowns. Better R:R. More consistent execution.

New account. New sample size. Lessons carried forward.

FundedNext $100K Free Trial starts now. 📈

Let's see what the next 14 days produce.

Today’s Trading Summary — September 14, 2026

Today was a rough start on the new $100K FundedNext free trial, but I still have one position running well in profit.

I closed 2 trades, both losses. My EURUSD sell lost $892.84 net, while my GBPAUD sell lost $1,071.30 net. That puts my total closed P/L for the day at -$1,964.14, leaving my balance at $98,035.86.

However, my GBPCAD buy is still running at +$1,364.51 floating profit. With that position included, my equity is currently $99,400.37, meaning my effective drawdown is only around -$599.63 (-0.60%) despite the closed losses.

The biggest positive for me today is that I didn't allow the two losses to completely derail my trading. The GBPCAD setup came from a clear structural idea: price took out the high on the retracement leg, giving me an internal BOS, and I bought toward the key higher-timeframe level. That trade is currently doing the heavy lifting.

I'm still comfortably within the account rules. The daily loss limit is $5,000, with $4,400.37 remaining, while the overall $10,000 maximum loss limit has $9,400.37 remaining based on the dashboard.

So today isn't a profitable day yet, but it's also not a disaster. Two closed losses, one strong running winner, and risk still under control. My focus now is not to force another setup trying to recover the closed losses. I'll manage the GBPCAD position according to structure and let the market decide the final outcome.

Closed P/L: -$1,964.14 | Floating P/L: +$1,364.51 | Current Equity: $99,400.37 | Net position vs starting balance: -$599.63 (-0.60%)

The lesson for today: a losing start doesn't require aggressive recovery. Protect the account, stick to the setup, and let the edge play out over a series of trades.
