Today’s Trading Summary — September 21, 2026

Today was a difficult trading session for me. I took 3 trades, and all three ended negative after commissions. My biggest loss came from Gold (XAUUSD), while the EURUSD trade was essentially around breakeven before commission.

Today’s trades:

XAUUSD Buy: -$175.80

EURUSD Buy: -$3.15 net after commission

GBPCAD Sell: -$66.06

Total net loss: -$244.? Based on the displayed net P&Ls, the total is -$245.01.

My account balance now stands at $94,121.70. Across the challenge so far, I have taken 15 trades, with a 26.67% win rate, 0.12 profit factor, and an average profit-to-average-loss ratio of 0.32.

The main lesson from today is that having a clear market narrative doesn't guarantee the market will deliver it. Gold in particular looked positioned for the upside, but the setup invalidated instead. EURUSD barely affected the account, while GBPCAD added another loss.

I'm still in a losing period, so protecting the account has to remain the priority. I don't need to recover today's losses tomorrow. I need to keep executing my edge, control risk, avoid revenge trading, and give the strategy enough trades for its expectancy to play out.

When emotions come in it affects the psychology and trading rules, it's just an experience though, because I lost 2 dollars yesterday for the first time trading in my account, that is because I messed up my trading rules, all because I want to make profit fast to pass my account, and then immediately I made the loss due to market volatility, I adjusted immediately, waited for another entry that suits my rules and then took another trade and made 26 dollars and after commission it was left with 24 dollar's and few cents I now remember that instead of rushing to make profits I should follow my plans, so I don't enter premature trades, because when you allow price to fulfil your trading rules in full that is when you get to know if there is an invalidation of a particular rule or not, but if you enter because you want profit for that day you might end up losing that account....

Today’s Trading Summary — September 22

Today was a quiet but positive trading day for me. I only took one trade, which was on EURGBP, and I closed the day in profit.

The EURGBP buy was entered at 0.85690 and closed at 0.85720 with 1.77 lots. The trade generated $54.40 gross profit and $49.09 net profit after costs.

What I like most about today is that I didn't force additional trades. After the losses from the previous trading day, today was about staying disciplined, taking what the market offered, and protecting the account rather than trying to recover everything immediately.

Today’s numbers: 1 trade, 1 winner, 100% daily win rate, and +$49.09 net P&L. My account balance now stands at $94,170.79.

Small green days still count. The priority remains execution, risk management, and consistency—not chasing losses.
