Perfect setup

I will close the trade here, the price action is sluggish and the market is bullish on the higher time frame, so I wont risk it.

Yes, if I didnt close out I would have lost the trade because price kept going up

I have taken a short trade, after price broke out of the Pre-NYSE hour range and started reversing back into it. My TP is at the gap below

TP smashed

The New York Stock Exchange just opened with a bang! Of course we have boxed out the 1:30 to 2:30 pm range to capture the Pre-market hour and since price has skyrocketed out of the box, lets observe if we can catch a reversal and ride it back down

Jeez! if I had seen this coming I would have placed a pending order at the edge of the box to catch this move

Here is how it is going

Kinda confused on the us30 open time. I used to target the open of the New York session but it seems the US30 exchanges open at a different time.

The general New York session opens by 8 am in America but the stock exchanges open for customers later at 9:30 am American time (EST). You can convert this to your local time.

To convert to your local time, you can simply:

Google "EST to [your city/timezone]", or

Use a tool like timeanddate.com or worldtimeserver.com

For example:

Lagos (WAT/UTC+1): 1:00 PM & 2:30 PM

New York Stock Exchange has opened by 9 30 am EST or 2:30 pm UTC+1 and I have boxed out the pre-market hour of 1:30 - 2:30 pm UTC+1. Price poked its head out of the upper edge of the box so I decided to fade that bar.

I have adjusted my SL for break even because price has exited the lower edge of the box and there is a tendency for reversal now.

I wish you could make a video for this your strategy
