Is FirewoodFX no deposit bonus legit?

Hi fam!

I just stumbled across FirewoodFX broker and I see they have a no deposit bonus. I am skeptical, is this broker and its bonus for real? I would like to hear from anyone who has traded with the FirewoodFX no deposit bonus and how real it is. Many many thanks in advance.

Good Morning Patrinova, Yes the Firewoodfx no deposit bonus is real because I have used it. What made me signup for the bonus was the fact that they allow you use high leverage up to 1:3000 when trading with the bonus.

The withdrawal conditions for the bonus are also realistic as you only have to trade 2 standard lots, close your trades at 5 pips profit or more, and trade within 30 days before you can withdraw the profits made from using the bonus.

Once you open the bonus account, the $20 welcome bonus is immediately credited and although the bonus itself is not withdrawable, the profits are.

You need to trade at least once every 5 days to let Firewoodfx know you are serious about the bonus if not they will terminate it. The trading platform is MT4 and EAs & Copy trading is not permitted.

For me I didn't have to trade 2 standard lots before I was eligible to withdraw the bonus, because I made a 100 USD deposit into the bonus account so I only had to trade 1 standard lot.

Note that you must withdraw your profits within 30 days and to withdraw, you must open an Firewoodfx ECN Account which requires a $100 minimum deposit. Alternatively, you could withdraw directly from the bonus account by depositing $100 into it like I did.

Yes, the broker offers a $20 welcome / no-deposit bonus that allows you to trade without depositing money.

However, the conditions attached to withdrawing profits are very restrictive

Is this a real broker? Never heard of em!

FirewoodFX’s no-deposit offer is a small $20 welcome bonus. You claim it by installing the FirewoodFX mobile app, opening a “Bonus” account and completing ID verification. The conditions are tight:

You can only withdraw profit, and no more than $20 of it.

You must trade 2 lots and invite two “eligible” friends before withdrawing, and the terms don’t say what eligible means.

Only trades held for more than 5 pips count toward the lot requirement.

FirewoodFX can change or end the promotion at any time.

In practice, the best case is that you turn free money into a capped $20 payout after recruiting two people. That’s a lot of conditions for very little money.

Disadvantages for someone in Europe

The main problem is regulation. FirewoodFX appears to be registered only in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. That’s the weakest tier of oversight, and the SVG regulator has said publicly that it doesn’t license or supervise forex brokers. A European trader using it gives up the protections an EU-authorised broker must provide:

No investor compensation. EU brokers are covered by national schemes, typically up to €20,000. FirewoodFX lists no compensation fund.

No guaranteed limits on losses or leverage. EU rules require negative balance protection and cap retail leverage at 30:1. Offshore brokers often offer far higher leverage.

No EU complaint route. If there’s a dispute over a withdrawal or bonus terms, you can’t take it to an EU regulator or ombudsman.

The bonus itself is also a clue. EU rules ban regulated brokers from offering trading bonuses to retail clients. Any broker advertising one to Europeans is, by definition, operating outside that system.

Some European regulators also publish warnings against unlicensed brokers. It’s worth checking your national regulator’s warning list for FirewoodFX before signing up.

Overall, it may be fine for experimenting with a free $20, but I wouldn’t deposit real money with it from Europe. An EU-regulated broker’s demo account is a safer way to practise. I’m not a financial advisor, so treat this as background for your own decision.

$20 is still better than nothing
