EURGBP is showing why I wait for liquidity before confirmation.

Price didn't simply bounce from the low.

It swept the low first, reversed and then broke structure.

That's the sequence I'm interested in.

Liquidity โ†’ BOS โ†’ Retracement โ†’ Expansion.

Buy 0.85588 | SL 0.85537 | TP 0.85747

EURGBP TRADE IDEA ๐Ÿ“ˆ

My short-term bias is bullish after the recent liquidity sweep and BOS.

I'm anticipating a retracement into the marked POI before price continues toward the external liquidity above.

BUY LIMIT: 0.85588

STOP LOSS: 0.85537

TAKE PROFIT: 0.85747

RR: ~1:3.1

If 0.85537 is taken, the idea is invalidated.

Otherwise, 0.85747 is my target.

Alright. Price reacted at the 1.39100 price region for sells, so possibility of still going back to your entry is there.

USDCAD OUTLOOK ๐Ÿ“ˆ

USDCAD is still bullish from my perspective, but I don't want to chase price up here.

Price has already traded into the IRL above, so I'm anticipating a deeper retracement before looking for the next bullish expansion.

The area around 1.3840โ€“1.3825 is where things get interesting.

Looking at USDCAD on the 1H, we've already seen a clear bullish BOS followed by expansion into the liquidity above.

Now price is pulling back.

My expectation is simple:

Retracement โ†’ POI โ†’ bullish continuation.

I'm waiting for price to come to me.

Liquidity first, entry second.

USDCAD has already delivered a strong bullish move and traded into the IRL around the previous highs.

Instead of buying at premium, I'm looking lower.

The 1.3840 area is my main zone of interest for potential continuation.

USDCAD is a good example of why I don't want to chase bullish candles.

Yes, my overall expectation is bullish.

But location matters.

I'd rather see price retrace toward 1.38398โ€“1.38253, take liquidity and give confirmation before considering longs.

USDCAD 1H ๐Ÿงต

Trades into the marked POI ๐ŸŽฏ

Liquidity gets taken ๐Ÿ’ง

Bullish confirmation appears ๐Ÿ“ˆ

USDCAD has already shown bullish intent through its recent BOS.

But after reaching the upper IRL, price has started retracing.

That retracement isn't automatically bearish.

For me, it could simply be price seeking liquidity and a better price before continuing higher.

1.3840โ€“1.3825 is the area I'm watching.

Potential USDCAD Buy Setup

๐ŸŽฏ POI: 1.38398 area

๐Ÿ›‘ Invalidation: below 1.38253

๐ŸŽฏ Initial upside objective: 1.39129

I'm not entering simply because price touches the zone.

I still want the market to show me that buyers are stepping back in

The beauty of waiting for a retracement is that it gives you a clearer invalidation point.

Buying USDCAD around current highs gives me poor positioning.

Buying after a retracement into my POIโ€”provided confirmation appearsโ€”offers a completely different risk profile.

Patience is part of the setup.

The previous USDCAD bullish leg showed the sequence I'm looking for again:

IRL โ†’ liquidity โ†’ BOS โ†’ expansion.

Now I'm watching to see whether price can repeat that behaviour after this retracement.

If the lower POI holds, the next draw could be the liquidity above 1.39129.

USDCAD WEEKLY PLAN ๐Ÿ“Š

I'm bullish, but I want lower prices first.

My ideal scenario is for USDCAD to continue retracing toward the 1.38398โ€“1.38253 region, potentially sweep liquidity there, then produce bullish confirmation.

From there, I'll be looking toward:

TP: 1.39129

And potentially higher if price successfully breaks through that liquidity.

Until the setup develops, I'm staying patient.

GBPCAD SELL SETUP ๐Ÿ“‰

GBPCAD remains bearish on the 1H.

Price has continued breaking structure to the downside, and I'm now looking for a retracement into my POI before another bearish expansion.

๐ŸŽฏ Entry: 1.88326

๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 1.88484

๐Ÿ’ฐ TP: 1.87837

Let's see if price delivers the retracement.

The bearish structure on GBPCAD is pretty clear.

We've had successive BOS to the downside, showing that sellers remain in control.

Instead of selling at the current low, I'm waiting for price to retrace back toward 1.88326.

Better location. Better invalidation. Better R:R.

GBPCAD 1H ๐Ÿ“Š

The market has already given me the directional confirmation I need.

Bearish BOS โœ…

Lower prices being delivered โœ…

Inducement above current price โœ…

POI identified โœ…

Now it's about patience.

I want the retracement before considering the sell.

I'm not interested in chasing GBPCAD after this bearish expansion.

The setup I'm watching requires price to retrace toward the marked supply/POI around 1.8832.

If price gets there and gives the reaction I'm looking for, I'll be targeting the liquidity below.

TP: 1.87837.

Something important about this GBPCAD setup:

The current low isn't where I want to sell.

Price has already expanded considerably lower.

I'd rather let the market retrace, potentially take some internal liquidity, mitigate the POI and then look for bearish continuation.

Never confuse direction with entry location.

GBPCAD Trade Idea

SELL: 1.88326

SL: 1.88484

The 1H structure remains bearish following multiple downside BOS.

I'm expecting price to retrace into the marked area before continuing toward lower liquidity.

No retracement, no trade.

GBPCAD has been respecting bearish order flow beautifully.

Every meaningful retracement has eventually been followed by another push lower.

Now I'm watching the inducement around 1.88327.

If price trades higher, takes that liquidity and rejects the POI, that could provide the setup for the next bearish leg.

One thing trading has taught me:

You don't have to catch the entire move.

GBPCAD has already sold off significantly, but I'm not jumping in because I'm bearish.

I'm waiting for MY price.

Around 1.88326 is where I'll start paying serious attention.
