I actually want NZDUSD to move higher from here.

Not because my bias has changed.

I want price to retrace because my POI is sitting above current market price.

A push toward 0.59210 would bring price back into the area where I'm interested in executing the short.

Sometimes you need price to move against your bias before it can give you the trade.

Before price reaches my entry, the entire trade is planned.

SELL NZDUSD

Entry: 0.59210

Stop Loss: 0.59294

Take Profit: 0.58904

Risk: ~8.4 pips

Potential reward: ~30.6 pips

That's approximately 1:3.6 R:R.

No improvisation after entry.

NZDUSD has already expanded aggressively lower.

Selling around 0.5901 because I'm afraid of missing the continuation would completely change the risk profile of this setup.

I'd rather miss the trade entirely than turn a planned setup into an emotional entry.

Patience is part of execution.

The area around 0.59210–0.59294 is where things become interesting for me.

That's the zone where I'll be watching to see whether the retracement terminates and sellers regain control.

Until price reaches that area, I'm simply observing.

No POI = no trade.

One mistake traders make is identifying a bearish market and assuming every price is a sell.

NZDUSD is clearly bearish, but I still need location.

That's why I'm waiting for the market to retrace rather than selling after displacement.

Bias tells me direction.

POI tells me where.

Risk management tells me how much.

Current price: ~0.59015

Planned entry: 0.59210

There's almost 20 pips between current price and where I actually want to execute.

So there is absolutely nothing for me to do right now.

The analysis is complete.

Now comes the difficult part: waiting.

Another setup on my radar today — NZDUSD.

The overall order flow remains bearish, but price is already trading near the lows, so I'm not interested in chasing sells.

I want the retracement first.

Entry: 0.59210

SL: 0.59294

TP: 0.58904

Let price come to me.

EURCAD is firmly on my radar.

The overall order flow remains bearish, and price has continued delivering lower highs and lower lows.

Rather than chase the move down here, I'm waiting for a retracement into my POI.

Entry: 1.61119

SL: 1.61228

TP: 1.60783

Patience until price comes to me.

Yeah maybe

You're not paying attention to the daily like before. You've only been looking for setups on 15mins instead of 4hr and 1hr like you used to.
If you stay on 15mins for long, you'll miss out on what price is telling you on 4hr and D1.

that's my observation though.

Market was active today being the first trading day of the month, compared to the low volume of yesterday.
