2. ERL (External range liquidity).

External range liquidity (ERL) is a kind of liquidity that is found at the top or bottom of a range.

Let's put everything together

●Scenario 1

Price move to re-balance an old imbalance.

There is an imbalance below the IRL, that account for the IRL leg not holding to be a higher low.

Scenario 2

Price attacks liquidity

Anytime huge moves are about to happen, price needs to attack some sort of liquidity (IRL)

CLUE

1. Always expect price to takes out liquidity (IRL) before executing

2. IRL with imbalance above in a bearish scenario mostly plays out (same as in bullish structure)

3. Target the nearest external range liquidity (ERL)

@headies pls what instruments does this SLK strategy work for?

It works for all instruments. I trade currency pairs, indices and synthetic with it. I have not tried it with trading stocks yet.

If it does then why are you not trading gold with it? Afterall gold is more profitable than the currency pairs

H
@headies25284 - 4 months ago

I trade Gold with it. The reason why i am not trading it at the moment is because no opportunity has been presented yet. I am looking at a buy setup for Gold though, i will share it with you all later.

This is a trade on EURCHF i will be taking using the SLK strategy. I will be selling with 10pips stoploss. My trade will trigger at that entry marked.

This can be very painful as a trader, price ignoring your entry and going in your direction. Pls delete your limit for this trade.
