EURJPY

I just executed a buy trade on Eurjpy

Let’s see how it plays out.

How did I arrive at this buy?

On the 4hrs timeframe of Eurjpy, we had series of breakout to the upside confirming the bullishness of the pair. I had my entry at the retracement to one of the breakout zones.

I just spotted a clean setup on NZD/CAD. Price has already moved away from the area where I would have preferred to enter, but I won’t rush the process or panic. I’ll patiently wait for a retracement back into my zone, and if it doesn’t come, I’ll simply let the trade go. No forcing setups—just staying focused and keeping this pair on my watchlist.

Let me highlight a breakdown of this trade i spotted.

WEEKLY TIMEFRAME.

On the weekly timeframe, my bias on this pair is bearish. I identified this from a clear upside breakout, which initially indicated bullish structure. However, the previous weekly low has already been swept, while the high of that candle is still holding. From a structural perspective, these factors suggest underlying bullish momentum despite the current bearish outlook I’m observing.

DAILY TIMEFRAME.

On the daily timeframe, we can clearly see alignment with the weekly structure. This is evident from the recent upside breakout on the daily chart, which reinforces the bullish structure already observed on the weekly timeframe. At the moment, price is reacting around the daily breakout zone, suggesting a potential retest or continuation from this key level.

4-HOURS TIMEFRAME.

Price is currently reacting from a 4-hour breakout zone, where a CRT (Candle Range Theory) model has formed. To clarify, CRT occurs when the high of a previous candle is taken out while the low remains intact, and vice versa.

Within this timeframe, the previous 4-hour low has already been swept, while the high is still holding. This structure suggests bullish continuation, meaning price is likely to remain supported for buys until that high is eventually taken out.

My entry was taken on the 1-hour timeframe after identifying the CRT model on the 4-hour chart. Once I spotted that higher timeframe structure, I dropped to the lower timeframe for confirmation, which I successfully found on the 1-hour. The trade is now active, and I’ll be observing closely to see if it plays out according to expectation.

@headies25284 - 8 hours ago

There was a re-entry on the 1-hour timeframe in my setup. We had an upside breakout that aligns with the higher timeframe structure. Price then retraced back into the breakout zone, and from there it has continued to move in the expected direction.

@headies25284 - 6 hours ago

The momentum is currently building at the moment, with price starting to push in my favor. The 4-hour high remains the key take-profit target. One important aspect of the SLK strategy is that it requires patience and discipline to be truly effective, as timing and waiting for confirmation play a major role in its success.

@headies25284 - 6 hours ago

We are now very close to the take-profit zone on this trade. The entire setup was based on a simple and structured process. There was clear timeframe alignment, with the weekly and daily charts both showing bullish momentum. The 4-hour timeframe provided the CRT model, and the 1-hour timeframe delivered the final confirmation for entry.
