Trading GBP/USD

When weekly rejected at a weekly key level, I was expecting to see a break of structure on the daily timeframe. Looking at the image attached carefully, you will see the break of structure zone marked but price has not yet broken it. Based on this information, i doubt the bullishness of GBPUSD for this week. More updates on how to trade it this week will be dropped later during the week.

Good morning, but the screenshot is a 1 day chart not a weekly chart

Good morning, sure you had an amazing weekend?

I posted the weekly chart first, kindly scroll up and you will see it. Thank you.

I am still bearish on GBPUSD, looks like its bullish but i am sticking to my sell bias. I am waiting for extra confirmation before executing this trade. I await a candle rejection and closure. Afterwards i can sell, if i don't see it i am not going to sell.

Sincerely, the more reason why i am waiting for extra confirmation. Monthly timeframe gave a breakout to the upside to signify bullishness.

But we are looking at the 4H time frame which is long term, the fact that it looks bullish does not mean price cannot fall for the next 1 hour. This is why I like to pick my entries using the 15 minute time frame

If GBP/USD price closes above point A i will buy and if it closes below point B i will sell. I had to put the "closes" in bold because closes are very important.

Now we have a close below point B (1.3667 level) so a sell will make sense

Today is NFP, it’s actually better to wait for the market to reset and we play along .

Even on NFP days you can still make a decent 20 pips profit before the news release. After nfp comes out the markets may remain volatile for the next 1 hour.

I just prefer staying out of the market in cases like this. The manipulation is always much. I will just sit and wait for NFP to do it’s thing.
