OBSERVATION: P & L DSCREPANCY

I took some trades on MT5 today and my net loss on the FTMO dashboard is higher than what the MT5 is showing. On the FTMO dashboard I can see $94.30 but when you manually do the math on MT5 the net loss is around $45

Let me get my calculator, I will do the manual calculation to crosscheck. Another question on my mind is does FTMO give standard or raw spread accounts? Because if they are raw spread, they will charge an extra commission

Also you should check the commissions too cause FTMO charges commissions on their trade, so it adds up to make the losses huge

But FTMO should be displaying the commission on their dashboard so we can see exactly how much is charged for commission to avoid being cheated.

So they don't want people to scalp

But I have been scalping with these kind of trades and never noticed any commission. Even yesterday I took similar trades and didn't notice any commission deduction

You can see the commissions on your mobile MT5 trade history but not on PC.

They need to improve their user experience

So they don't want people to scalp

Most prop firms don't like scalp trades. They mostly want day trading and holding trades overnight too. It depends on the prop firms policy, but majority of prop firms aren't in support of scalp trades.

Brokers can allow any style of trading but prop firms don't really support all

Yes. commissions don't show automatically. To see total summary, you have to right click on the trade and select report, then this will come up.
But this is for overall statement for the account.

To see the Laptop version of the commissions and swap fees, You have to right Click on any of your closed trades in the history panel. A dropbox will pop up, then you go to the column section (last option on the drop box, and you can tick any of the options you want to appear on your history which includes Swaps and commissions.
