Every trader should risk what he/ she can be able to afford, just put in mind that the higher your risk, the higher your reward, but nothing less than $10

Now, Drawdown is the peak to trough decline in the value of a trading account or investment over a specific period

And there are a few concept in drawdown which we would look at:

Peak: this is the highest equity or balance value your account reach before experiencing losses!

Trough: This is the lowest point your account drops to after that peak, before it starts recovering or returns to its new high

We also have Maximum Draw Down abbreviated as Max DD.

If you lose all your capital in trading, you’d eventually have to outsource more capital and most times it takes time.

So unless you have a place where you stash your money, you’d lose your ability to hold a good lot size or even the trading in general
