which U.S. public holidays affect banks & stock exchanges

I trade many pairs that contain the USD so I wish to know which public holidays in the United States will affect banks & exchanges and cause them to close. Thank you

Today is "Memorial Day" 26th May 2025 and it is a holiday in the U.S. that causes national banks and the NYSE to close for business.

4th of July every year is a bank and stock exchange holiday in the United States because it is their independence day.

Some public holidays that affect both banks and stock exchanges in the US are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and Christmas Day.

Today, 19th June 2025 is a public holiday called "Juneteenth" in the United States so U.S. banks will be closed & you may witness some slow price movement especially during the New York session. Trade safe!

Tomorrow 4th of July is a public holiday celebrating the United States Independence. Banks in America will be shut so it will affect trading during the New York session (we will witness slower price movement and maybe higher spread)

Today is a major holiday in the U.S. as they celebrate their independence. I am not going to trade the new york session because there will be poor liquidity and stop losses will be hit easily as the market tries to look for liquidity from clients

Today is a public holiday in the USA, they are celebrating their independence. Normally it should be on the 4th of July but since that day is on a weekend, they will celebrate it today. Major US stock exchanges may not function at full capacity or may close totally, the same goes for major US banks
