what is meant by price action trading in forex
Replied 3 months ago -
Price action is the ancient way of trading that was in play before indicators were invented. In the past, traders didn't use indicators, they relied on understanding candlestick patterns, price behavior etc. and that is what price action trading is about. I will say that from my experience, price action trading is more accurate than using indicators.

do we expect too much from technical indicators?
Replied 3 months ago -
I suspect brokers are the ones behind the development of indicators so that 95% of traders will keep losing. Why the heck will I rely on a Christmas tree to show me something that has already happened when i could have seen it in real time using price action?

What are the best indicators for deciding when to buy or sell?
Replied 3 months ago -
I rely on price action to tell me when to enter/exit I don't depend on indictors because they are always giving delayed information. By the time your beloved indicator tells you to buy, price action traders have already bought and exited the trade with profit.

what is a block trade & why is it done in private?
Replied 3 months ago -
I think block trades have to do with the dark pool where certain futures/option contracts are not pre-disclosed to the public so that market volatility is not compromised.
Block trades are usually executed for eligible investors only and the block minimum threshold usually specified by the exchange ensures that futures/options contract must have a very large volume in order to qualify for block trade execution.

why should i use low leverage when trading forex, any advantages?
Replied 3 months ago -
Low leverage ensures you don't make silly trades because every time you want to open a position, the broker will ask for high margin collateral. Low leverage helps you become a more serious trader instead of just gambling away.

Is RCG Markets Good for Beginners, Do they have Micro Account?
Replied 3 months ago -
they have micro account but don't expect to make much profit trading this mini account. It is great for experimenting with new strategies or for learning how to trade. Micro accounts are also good for hedging for those who leave trades open for days to weeks,

what is the value of a put option at expiry
Replied 3 months ago -
The worth of a put at expiry depends on if the put expires in the money or not. The put is only worthless if it expires out of the money.

stop loss or hedging, which is a better risk management method?
Replied 3 months ago -
hedging is too difficult to manage for me; I like to set a trade and go to sleep instead of continuously monitoring a hedge. besides i think hedging can encourage one not to accept losses and to try to engage in risk-free trading. This can be counterproductive in the long run.

are forex signals on telegram really profitable?
Replied 3 months ago -
Depends on who you are getting the signal from. But i noticed there is always a problem of late execution, where the signals are received late after the price has already moved. This leads to late execution of the trade, and the end result will not be profitable.

what is strike price meaning in options trading?
Replied 3 months ago -
Strike price is like the price at which the option contract is awakened and can be used or exercised. As long as the market value of the underlying future has not reached the strike price, the option remains dormant and out of the money.
