if i get stopped out of a trade, should i jump in again? Replied 2 months ago - If after I get stopped out i discover my daily loss limit has been reached, I will not enter again. But if it has not been reached and price started going in my favor after i was stopped out, then I will enter again & place a wider stop loss than i did the first time.

what is the best indicator for spotting support & resistance on charts? Replied 2 months ago - Simple Moving Average (SMA) & Fibonacci Retracement are some good indicators I use. My 14-day SMA curve acts as support when price is above it and acts as resistance when price is below it. It is not perfect, so I don't rely on it 100% i just use it as a guide. Fibonacci retracement levels can also act as support and resistance, especially the golden fib level of 61.8%

why do bond cfds have lower leverage than forex cfds in the UK? Replied 2 months ago - The FCA has since shifted position on this matter, they now allow up to 1:30 leverage on bond cfds. In the past, the FCA had tried to comply with ESMA regulations but on the matter of leverage on bond cfds, they disagreed with the ESMA and insisted on increasing leverage on bond cfds to 1:30 because they say it is lower risk than forex and ,ost traders use bond cfds for hedging and not for speculation.

can I trade options on every stock? Replied 2 months ago - The answer is no! Options are instruments meant to manage risk exposure on the stock. Some stocks (like penny stocks) have little or no trading volume on the exchange so if almost nobody is trading the stock why will the exchange design an option for it? Think about it!

Why was September 2025 NFP not released as scheduled? Replied 2 months ago - The United States government has shut down due to Democrats & Republican politicians fighting over what and what not to include in their spending bill and this is why the NFP report wont be released today.

Are there any Real ECN Brokers in South Africa? Replied 2 months ago - When we say a broker is an ECN or STP broker, it doesn't mean they will not offer standard accounts where spread is the only trading fee. ECN/STP brokers offer both zero-spread accounts (where spread starts from 0.0 pips and you also pay a commission per trade) and standard accounts (where spread is higher but is the only trading fee you pay). When a broker is not an ECN/STP broker, their account types will be only standard accounts meaning spread-only accounts for example look at a broker like XM none of their accounts charge commission, so they are an example of a market maker.

How do ECN brokers differ from STP brokers? Replied 2 months ago - ECN and STP brokers operate using the same model of sending your trade directly to the counterparty and not through a middleman. However, the ECN broker has better order management in that they can merge several small orders together for faster execution, while the STP broker sends every order individually and this can slow down execution time because the order may have to wait slightly longer to get a counterparty. The end result is ECN brokers have faster execution speed than STP brokers.

What is JOLTS report in fundamental analysis? Replied 2 months ago - JOLTS (Job Openings & Labor Turnover Summary) is an American data survey that tells us the number of job vacancies and job resignation/separation for a given month in the United States nonfarm sector. Simply put, it tells us how many nonfarm job vacancies were available, what percentage of applicants were hired to fill the vacancies (hiring rate), and the resignations/separations that led to these vacancies. If the number of job vacancies for a month increases with respect to that of the last month, it is a good sign, but the hiring rate should also increase. Look at it this way, if the hiring rate drops, it could mean people are not willing to take the jobs or the companies are just advertising the jobs but not willing to employ people. If the JOLTS report is good (meaning more job vacancies and increased hiring rate etc.) we can expect the nonfarm payroll report to be good also. So, the JOLTS report is an indicator of what to expect when nonfarm payroll is released.

Do prop firms actually copy your trades? Replied 2 months ago - There is no evidence to support the claim made by some prop firms about copying trades of those who buy their challenges. This is why I hope regulation of prop firms will come fast so that some of these claims can be subject to regulatory scrutiny. Some people will say since the prop firms do a profit split it means they copy your trades, but there is no evidence to substantiate this claim. It could be that they prop firms make the claim of copying your trades to justify why they do a profit split with you.

What is the Best Forex Trading App in Nigeria? Replied 2 months ago - Tickmill has a good mobile app but it only works with their raw spread account. I use the app frequently and it allows me to do technical analysis; drawing trend lines, drawing shapes, highlighting areas etc. and it saves everything so that when I come back later, I can continue from where I stopped.

win rate or risk to reward; which is more important? Replied 2 months ago - You can have a high win rate but still be unprofitable if the amount you win is peanuts and the amount you lose is sizeable. The RR is more important because it keeps your losses small and your winners bigger.
