what did jamie dimon say about the bond market? Replied 4 months ago - He said something about US bonds no longer being AAA rated but that they have been downgraded to AA. He also said borrowing during covid 19 has put an enormous interest rate burden on US so the bond market is overburdened

Interest rate on your account is simply a figure showing the interest you will earn annually while the APY is a projection of the monthly interest plus compound interest you will earn on the account for a period of one year if you don't make any withdrawal from the account.

what is market sentiment in trading? Replied 4 months ago - Its basically the way other traders feel at the moment for example when the market is expecting an important news release (such as NFP, CPI, Interest rate decision etc.), the market sentiment will be indecisive and I usually know this because price will just be trading in a range for several hours until the news is released then you see a breakout from the range.

what is retracement in forex? Replied 4 months ago - Whenever there is an upward or downward trend and people start taking profit & exiting the market, you will see a temporary trend reversal which is called a retracement. It is temporary and does not nullify the trend because after these traders exit with their profits, the trend will continue. Lots of beginner traders confuse retracements for actual trend reversals and exit their positions only for the trend to resume afterwards.

Why the heck will I rely on a Christmas tree to show me something that has already happened when i could have seen it in real time using price action?

Replied 4 months ago - I rely on price action to tell me when to enter/exit I don't depend on indictors because they are always giving delayed information. By the time your beloved indicator tells you to buy, price action traders have already bought and exited the trade with profit.

what is a block trade & why is it done in private? Replied 4 months ago - I think block trades have to do with the dark pool where certain futures/option contracts are not pre-disclosed to the public so that market volatility is not compromised. Block trades are usually executed for eligible investors only and the block minimum threshold usually specified by the exchange ensures that futures/options contract must have a very large volume in order to qualify for block trade execution.
